Transparency

London Fire Brigade is publishing items of spending over £500 as part of the new transparency arrangements for local government.

We already publish a variety of data on Brigade spending and accountability including Authority Meetings and decisions, members and senior officer's expenses, performance information and targets. This section aims to pull the information together.

  • Statement of accounts –  income and expenditure for the financial year.
  • LFEPA meetings – full listing of our Authority and committee meetings with papers and decisions, including dates of meetings and information on how you can attend meetings
  • Organisational structure charts – breakdown of the Brigade structure including the top management structure and for each directorate and department.
  • LFEPA publications (standing orders, financial regulations, tenders and contracts, officer’s delegated authorities) - documents which set out the rules under which the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) makes decisions.
  • Members expenses – expenses claimed for LFEPA members during the financial year.
  • Members register of interests – declaration of members financial and other interests.
  • Members register of gifts and hospitality – list of all hospitality offers received by LFEPA Members.
  • Members allowances – total amounts paid to individual members for each financial year.
  • Senior officers expenses – expenses claimed for LFEPA officer at head of service level and above during the financial year.
  • Senior officers register of gifts and hospitality - list of all hospitality offers received by LFEPA officer at head of service level and above.
  • LFEPA land and property holdings – details of land and property owned/occupied by LFEPA.
  • Procurement - lists the systems which advertise our tenders and contracts, how we work with businesses, and our procurement process.
  • Disclosure log - contains a selection of published responses made to the Brigade by the public under the Freedom of Information Act.
