On Friday 29 June London Fire Brigade was called to reports of a car fire on Haymarket, SW1 at 0141hrs by the London Ambulance Service.
Shortly after fire crews arrived Metropolitan Police Explosives Officers were called to the scene and disabled a potential means of detonation of gas cylinders and fuel found in the vehicle.
Firefighters remained at the scene until just after 0400hrs to assist the other emergency services in attendance.
