The annual meeting of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) was held on Thursday, June 21, 2007.
Valerie Shawcross will continue as Chair of the Authority; Councillor Brian Coleman will continue as Vice Chair and Councillor John Whelan was appointed Deputy Chair with special responsibility for Community Outreach, replacing Cllr Colin Tandy.
Members also agreed the appointment of the Authority’s committees for the municipal year 2007-8. The Authority appointed a Finance, Procurement and Property Committee; Urgency Committee; Appointments Committee; Audit Committee; Standards Committee and a Special Appointments Committee.
It also has established a Human Resources, Equalities and Health and Safety Panel, and a Performance Management and Community Safety Panel.
