Fire wardenThis one-day Fire Warden course is aimed at staff with a designated role in workplace fire safety. Course overviewIt is more detailed than the Fire Awareness Course and covers more subjects. The course material and handouts are used in conjunction with current workplace fire safety legislation and guidance. Delegate understanding is tested by a short written assessment.
AimTo enable staff with an enhanced fire safety role to meet the training requirements detailed in the Department for Communities and Local Government guidance and current workplace fire safety legislation. DatesCourses are available throughout the year. DurationOne day Cost£180 per delegate (VAT is not payable on this course). Discounts available for group bookings, charities or when training provided at client's premises. The fee includes refreshments at our Training Centre. Click on the link to view our price structure. Venue- London Fire Brigade Training Centre venues at Southwark, London SE1 (how to get there). Training can also be arranged at alternative venues or at your own premises - subject to conditions (see price structure for details). On completion, delegates will receive a certificate valid for two years. Training notes and refreshments including lunch will be provided.
Learning objectivesBy the end of the course delegates should:
PrerequisitesNone. Although ideally delegates should have attended the London Fire Brigade Fire Awareness course or have a basic understanding of fire safety in the workplace. Who should attend?All staff will benefit from the training, particularly new employees and managers. The course is especially useful to those with a designated responsibility for fire safety. It's also valuable for those intending to undertake the London Fire Brigade Fire Warden Refresher Course or Fire Risk Assessment Course as an extension to their professional development. Programme
