Every year people are killed and many more injured in fires at work, whilst the financial consequences of fire can be equally devastating. Annually the cost to business through fire runs to millions of pounds - roughly 80% of companies never recover.

It makes good sense, therefore, to protect yourself, your staff and your business from fire. Our Commercial Training Unit offers a range of courses in workplace fire safety:

Courses

• Fire Awareness Course - a three hour course aimed at all staff to help them identify and reduce fire-related risk in the workplace
• Fire Awareness (with Extinguisher Training) - a half-day course aimed at all staff to help them identify and reduce fire-related risk in the workplace, including practical use of fire extinguishers
• Fire Warden Course - a one day course to help selected staff perform this vital role
• Fire Warden Refresher Course - a half-day course aimed at maintaining and enhancing the performance of this role 
• Fire Risk Assessment Course - a one day course is designed to assist managers in meeting their legal requirements for conducting fire risk assessment.
• Fire Security Course - a one day course aimed at security staff with a designated role in relation to workplace fire safety
• Fire Safety for Hotel Staff - a half-day course in fire safety for staff in the hotel industry
• Fire Safety for Bus & Coach Operators - a half-day course for staff working in this sector

Under current legislation you need to make sure your staff are adequately trained in fire safety.
