Fire warden refresher courseThis half-day course is aimed at members of staff identified in your emergency plan as having a supervisory role in the event of fire, to meet the training requirements described in current legislation and guidance. Course overviewThe training module builds on those subjects covered in the Fire Warden course. It provides a review of the typical duties of a fire warden, and further explores areas where fire wardens can positively influence & develop their colleagues in helping to create a safer work environment. The course material and handouts are used in conjunction with current legislation and guidance.

Alternatively, the Unit can be contacted using the above details. DurationHalf day. VenueLondon Fire Brigade Training Centre venues at Southwark, London SE1 (how to get there). Training can also be arranged at alternative venues or at your own premises – subject to conditions (see price structure for details). On completion, delegates will receive a certificate valid for two years. Training notes and light refreshments will be provided. • Identify and address typical fire safety concerns in the workplace PrerequisitesDelegates must have previously attended the London Fire Brigade Fire Warden course. It is desirable that they have also had experience in performing this vital role back in their workplace. Who should attend?All existing fire wardens will benefit from the training, especially those who have undertaken the role at work for a meaningful period e.g. 2 years. This module will also prove valuable for those individuals intending to participate in more advanced fire safety training courses as an extension to their professional development e.g. London Fire Brigade Fire Risk Assessment course.
