Fire risk assessment courseThis interactive module is designed to assist managers in meeting their legal requirements for conducting fire risk assessments. Course overviewIt provides a comprehensive look at the concept of Fire Risk Assessment, and focuses on those preventive and protective fire safety measures that will help to effectively reduce the level of fire risk. The course material and handouts are used with reference to current legislation and ‘best practice’ guidance. Delegate understanding is tested by a short written assessment.
AimTo provide delegates with the knowledge & understanding to undertake fire risk assessments in offices, small retail and similar premises. DurationOne day (0900 to 1700). VenueLondon Fire Brigade Training Centre venues at Southwark, London SE1 (how to get there). Training can also be arranged at alternative venues or at your own premises – subject to conditions (see price structure for details). PrerequisitesDue to the intensive nature of this module, it is highly recommended that delegates have previously attended the London Fire Brigade Fire Warden course. Who should attend?This training will benefit managers and others who are responsible for conducting or reviewing fire risk assessments for offices, small retail and similar premises.
