London Fire Brigade

London Fire Commissioner and LFEPA Chair

23 January 2017

Join our live questions and answer session on Monday, 23 January 2017 from 12:45-1:45pm.

London Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton and LFEPA Chair Dr Fiona Twycross will be discussing our draft London Safety Plan, which outlines our four year vision for making the capital the world's safest global city.

One of the proposals put forward in our draft plan includes work to improve the diversity and community relations within the Brigade. As well as placing stations at the heart of the community, we want to open the 'big red doors' of fire stations and invite the local community to engage with our firefighters and take advantage of its free communal facilities.

There are no plans to reduce the number of firefighters, fire stations or fire engines.
