ResearchThe LFB museum holds historical data that can be used for research information. We will respond to any enquiries about our collection. We hold some early service records and other details about operational life. We also have a separate research room where you can come and carry out your own research under the supervision of museum staff. We can also carry out research for you. This will cost you £5.50 for the first hour and £4.00 for each following hour. A service record is charged at £4.00 and photocopying is charged at 10p per copy. Contact us at museum@london-fire.gov.uk or by post to London Fire Brigade Museum, 94a Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 0EG, remembering to leave your full postal address. The museum receives many enquiries, so it may take a few weeks before any research takes place. All enquiries are dealt with in the strictest confidence.
