Access to informationThe public have a right to access information held by us under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Data Protection Act deals with personal information and the Freedom of Information Act deals with non-personal information. The Head of Stategy, Planning and Performance is responsible for managing the impact of Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation. On a day-to-day basis, our Information Access Team has responsibility for making sure we comply with the acts. This area contains information about the Freedom of Information Act including our publication scheme, and how you can request information.
