How you can plan for emergenciesThe government has produced an information booklet 'Preparing for Emergencies - What you need to know' for every home in the UK.
It gives practical common sense advice on what to do in an emergency - for example, a fire, terrorist attack or natural disaster. The Government, working with a range of experts including the emergency services, MI5, the Chief Medical Officer, the Red Cross and the Emergency Planning Society, developed this booklet.
