implementing electronic government (ieg)
Implementing Electronic Government (IEG)LFEPA, like all government departments and local authorities, is working towards the government set target of delivering as many of its services electronically as posssible, unless there are legal or operational reasons why this cannot be done. Our progress towards this target will be measured using the government set best value performance indicator (BVPI) 157. This, and other performance indicators and action plans can be found in our corporate plan which is also our best value performance plan.
For the first time, LFEPA have been asked by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to submit an Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) statement. This statement was approved by the Authority on 6 November 2003. See report FEP493 [
For more information on the government's approach to electronic service delivery go to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister's local e-government site. !adobe
