In the role of Community Liaison Officer you will provide support to the Kensington and Chelsea team, helping to achieve the borough targets relating to the reduction of accidental dwelling fires and incidences of arson and raising awareness of Home Fire Safety Visits.
Creating partnerships between the London Fire Brigade and the communities of London your effective communication skills will be key to this role. To fulfil the duties of this post you will need experience of working with “at risk” communities and other organisations; along with experience of organising and planning your own workload, and managing projects with clear and measureable outcomes.
You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge and awareness of the communities within London and the key issues affecting them, along with an understanding of current developments and legislation pertaining to community engagement and social exclusion.
