Schedule of meetings open to the public

LFEPA meetings, including those of its committees and panels are held at the London Fire Brigade Headquarters, unless indicated otherwise. Principal decisions on key LFB matters, such as strategy, policy and the LFB budget are made at meetings of the full Authority. In this section you will find meeting papers, agendas, approved minutes and dates of future meetings.

All our Authority meetings are open to the public except for when matters such as confidential, personal or confidential financial matters are being discussed. Some information considered at Authority meetings is confidential or exempt under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. Such information is not included in the publication scheme.


Agendas and approved minutes of the Authority and its committees and panels

Agendas containing a summary of the business that will be discussed at the meetings and reports can generally be viewed on the London Fire website five working days before the meeting. Minutes of the decisions taken at the meeting will also be available on the website once they have been agreed. Some information considered at  Authority meetings is confidential or exempt under the provisions of the Section 100A(3) of the Local Government Act 1972 and Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. Such information is not included in the publication scheme.

The LFEPA meetings archive includes Authority, Committee and Panels agendas, minutes and reports, archived by municipal year. The archive contains papers for five years. If you require older papers please contact our Democratic services department.

Background papers for meetings open to the public

Some information considered at Authority meetings is confidential or exempt under the provisions of the Section 100A(3) of the Local Government Act 1972. Public consultations

Official written responses to consultations to Government, the GLA and other governmental bodies (such as the Local Government Association and the Audit Commission), approved by the Authority. You can see all official responses to government consultations on the Communities and Local Government website.

Work is currently under way to include LFEPA consultations on our website.
