Terry is the Leader of Islington Council's Liberal Democrat group and has served as Leader of the Council and Executive Member for Community Safety. He has been a councillor for 12 years - in Islington since 2002 and previously in Tower Hamlets for 4 years.
Terry has a background in public sector housing, regeneration and community safety having worked at a senior level in a number of local authorities and Housing Associations. He is Chair of a community based housing association in East London and is a tenant director of the Independent Housing Ombudsman.
