A former current affairs broadcaster with BBC Television and Radio, Richard Tracey was MP for Surbiton for 14 years and a minister in Margaret Thatcher’s government. He served as a senior member of the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee and is also a Justice of the Peace and Freeman of the City of London. He lives in central Wandsworth with his wife and represents Merton and Wandsworth on the London Assembly. He was appointed to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority in June 2010.
