Maurice Heaster is a long-standing member of the London Borough of Wandsworth. A former Mayor of the Borough, he is the Council’s Deputy Leader. He was appointed to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority in 2000, where he is Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group.
