A Lewisham Councillor since 1998 and former assistant to the borough’s directly-elected Mayor, Crada’s many council and borough responsibilities include Cabinet Member for Community Safety, the Lewisham Safer Partnership Board and the Lewisham Community/Police Consultative Group. She is also a member of London Councils’ Crime and Public Protection Forum, the London Drugs Policy Forum and the National Steering Committee on Local Government for South Africa, where she is Vice-Chair.
A former Parliamentary candidate and a trade union member of 25 years’ standing, Crada was appointed to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority in June 2010.
