Tolworth - fire at industrial estate

30 January 2018

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at an industrial estate in Red Lion Road in Tolworth.

Part of the roof of one of the building was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 1104 and the fire was under control at 1200. Fire crews from Surbiton and Kingston fire stations, along with colleagues from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and due to the build up of combustible materials in the ducting system.
