Feltham - house fire

Two fire engines and 10 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house in Staines Road in Feltham this morning.

Part of the ground floor of the property was damaged by fire.

Two men were led to safety via an internal staircase by crews wearing breathing apparatus. One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service crews.

A further six people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade.

The Brigade was called at 0023 and the fire was under control at 0126. Two fire engines from Feltham fire station attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
