Kings Cross – shop fire

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze at a shop on Grays Inn Road in Kings Cross last night. Part of the basement and a small amount of the shop front was damaged by the blaze.

Around 10 people left the scene before the Brigade arrived.

The Brigade was called at 1839 and the fire was under control by 2004. Fire crews from Clerkenwell, Euston and Islington fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
