Notting Hill – restaurant and cinema fire

Twelve fire engines and around 60 firefighters attended a fire in a restaurant and cinema on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. Half of the extraction system was damaged by fire. A small amount of the roof was also damaged by fire. 

Around 200 people were evacuated from the building. There were no injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1443 and the fire was under control by 1812. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
