Two people were checked over by ambulance crews after a house fire on the Chase in Norbury, SW16 last night. The fire damaged part of a bedroom and fire investigators believe it was caused by an electrical fault within the property. A man and a woman suffered from minor smoke inhalation and were checked over by ambulance crews on the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1908 and the fire was under control by 1925. Two fire engines and ten firefighters from Norbury fire station were at the scene.
