Firefighters rescued a woman after a fire broke out in a flat on Portnall Road in Maida Vale, W9 during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus brought the woman to safety from the first floor property and she was treated by London Ambulance Service at the scene. Part of the first floor flat was damaged by the blaze.
Another five people fled the fire in the four storey building before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 0139 and the fire was under control by 0254.
Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from North Kensington fire station were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
