Manor Park – furniture shop

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire on Romford Road , Manor Park, E12 today. It is understood that three shops were damaged by the fire. Two flats above two of the shops were also affected by the blaze. A storage yard at the back of one of the shops, believed to be a furniture shop, was damaged, as was a community hall at the back of the yard.

The Brigade was called at 1325 and the fire was under control by 1634.  The cause of the fire is not known at this stage. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
