Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a semi detached house on Hook Rise North in Tolworth, Surbiton on Saturday morning. The roof of the house was badly damaged and a small part of the first floor was also affected by the fire. There were no reports of injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0811 and the fire was under control by 0910. Firefighters from Surbiton, New Malden and Kingston fire stations attended the blaze.
