Paddington – restaurant fire

Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to a fire at a restaurant on Edgware Road in Paddington last night. The fire damaged part of the kitchen and severely damaged a storeroom directly above the kitchen.

Around 30 people left the building before the Brigade arrived. A further 10 people were evacuated from an adjacent property.

The Brigade was called at 2046 and the fire was under control by 2235. Fire crews from Paddington, Euston, Knightsbridge, Willesden and Kensington fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
