Five fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a pub on Drummond Street in Euston NW1 this morning. Several 999 calls were received by the Brigade’s control officers. The restaurant’s ducting at ground floor level was destroyed by fire but it’s not thought the pub was badly damaged.
The Brigade was called at 0642 and the fire was brought under control at 0734. Soho, Islington, Euston and Paddington fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire’s under investigation.
