Warehouse blaze in Edmonton

Fire crews tackled a fire in a single storey warehouse on Harbet Road in Upper Edmonton this evening. The fire damaged part of the roof, a stack of wooden pallets, around a tonn of sawdust and part of the warehouse's ventilation system (ducting). No injuries were reported.

Eight fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Woodford, Walthamstow, Tottenham, Leyton, Edmonton, and Chingford fire stations were at the scene. The Brigade was called at 1650 and the fire was under control at 2004.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the LFB's fire investigation unit.
