Firefighters were called to a fire affecting some wasteland on Streatham High Road in the early hours of this morning. Sadly, two bodies were found at the scene. A third person was injured and is in hospital.
Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Norbury fire station attended the call. The Brigade was called at 0211 and the fire was under control by 0334.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade’s Fire Investigation Unit and the Metropolitan Police.
