Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a range of two storey garages and store rooms on Addiscombe Lane in Croydon, yesterday.
The fire damaged around 20 per cent of the ground floor. The building’s first floor and a roof were also partly damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1026 and the fire was under control by 1114. Firefighters from Croydon and Forest Hill fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
