Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a fire in a railways arch used as a workshop on Markfield Road, N15, earlier this morning.
Around one quarter of the railway arch measuring 15 by 15 metres was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 0608 and the fire was under control by 0809. Firefighters from Tottenham and Horsey fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
