Firefighters were called to a fire in an eight storey block of flats on Hazel Grove in Feltham, TW13 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A flat on the eight floor was severely damaged by the fire and three people escaped before firefighters arrived on the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0623 and the fire was under control by 0720.
Twickenham, Feltham and Hayes fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
