Mini bus crash in Lee

Fire crews attended a mini bus crash on Baring Road in Lee this morning. The mini bus crashed into a tree, leaving eight people injured and three people trapped. Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to rescue the trapped people. Five people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service before crews arrived and the others were treated on scene.

Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit went to the scene from Lee, Bromley, and Lewisham fire stations. The Brigade was called at 1003 and crews left the scene at 1119. The road is due to remain closed for a few hours following the crash.
