Around 200 people have been led or walked to safety following a small fire under a train in SE London this evening.The fire, which damaged part of the first coach of the eight-carriage train, was out when the Brigade arrived but fire crews led around 70 people along the track side to nearby Lee and Mottingham stations while a further 130 made their own way.There are no reports of injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2120 and remained at the scene for over 90 minutes to make sure everybody was safe. Crews from Lee Green, Eltham and Downham fire stations attended the incident.
