East Ham - house fire

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a house on Tudor Road in East Ham E6 this morning. Around half of the ground floor of the house was damaged by the fire. Four people left the house before the firefighters arrived on the scene. All four people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.

The Brigade was called at 0820 and the fire was under control by 0921. Firefighters from Stratford, East Ham and Plaistow fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
