Ilford - workshop fire

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire on Ley Street in Ilford this afternoon

A range of workshops, one car and eleven motorbikes were badly damaged in the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 1400 and the fire was under control by 1523. Firefighters from  Ilford, Hainault, Dagenham and Barking fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is being investigated..
