Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a flat fire on New Malden High Street this morning.
The fire damaged part of the first floor flat.
Firefighters were called at 1002 and the fire was under control by 1043. Fire crews from New Malden, Surbiton, Sutton and Norbury fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation
