Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in a house of three floors on Haggerston Road in Dalston, E8 yesterday evening.
Part of the ground floor kitchen was damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1833 and the fire was under control by 2016.
Fire crews from Kingsland and Shoreditch fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
