A elderly woman has died following a fire in a house converted into flats in Chiswick this morning.
Four fire engines and around twenty firefighters attended the fire. The fire severely damaged a bedroom in the first floor flat.
The Brigade was called at 0718 and the fire was under control by 0828. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Chiswick and Acton fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
