Barnet – fire in flat above a shop

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters attended a fire in a four storey shop with flats above it on Golders Green Road in Barnet, yesterday.

Part on the third floor flat was damaged by fire. Six people left the building before the Brigade arrived. It’s not thought anyone was injured.

The Brigade was called at 1947 and the fire was under control at 2043. Crews from West Hampstead, Hendon and Willesden stations were in attendance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
