Twenty firefighters tackle flat fire in Holloway

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a flat on Hungerford Road, Holloway , N7 on Thursday evening ( 5 April). Part of the four room flat was damaged by the fire.

A woman escaped before the Brigade arrived. The woman was suffering from smoke inhalation and treated by London Ambulance Service crews at the scene.

The Brigade was called at 2131 and the fire was under control by 2207. Fire crews from Clerkenwell, Islington, Holloway and Euston fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
