A woman was rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out in a mid terraced house on Congress Road in Abbey Wood, SE2 on Sunday ( 8 April) evening.
The woman was suffering from smoke inhalation and was treated by London Ambulance Service crews at the scene.
Part of the living room was damaged by the fire.
Two fire engines and around ten firefighters from Plumstead fire station were at the scene. The Brigade was called at 2202 and the fire was under control by 2245. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
