A man and a woman were rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus after a fire broke out in a seven storey block of flats on Gorefield Place in Kilburn Park, NW6 on Thursday evening ( 5 April). Part of a third floor flat was damaged by the fire.
The man and the woman were both suffering from smoke inhalation and were treated by London Ambulance Service crews at the scene.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 2136 and the fire was under control by 2212. Crews from Paddington and West Hampstead fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
