Pub basement fire - Fulham

Fire crews have tackled a blaze in the basement of two storey building containing a pub and flats on New Kings Road in Fulham this morning.

Four engines and 20 firefighters and officers from Wandsworth, Chelsea, Fulham and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.

Ten people left the building before the arrival of the Brigade.

The fire damaged a small part of the basement.

The Brigade was called at 0656 and the fire was under control at 0728.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
