Around 200 people were evacuated after a fire broke out in a marquee in the garden of a cricket club on Winchmore Hill, in Enfield, N21 on Sunday.
There were four gas cylinders inside the marquee and as gas cylinders can explode when exposed to heat the Brigade set up a temporary safety cordon as a precaution.
One man was suffering from burns to his arms and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire severely damaged part of the marquee.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Edmonton, Southall and Enfield fire stations were called to the fire at 1204 and the fire was under control by 1326.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
