Fire damages flat in Wood Green

Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were called to a fire in a flat on Gladstone Avenue in Wood Green, N22  in the early hours of Sunday morning.
 
One person escaped before the Brigade arrived.

The fire damaged part of a four room ground floor flat.

Crews from Tottenham and Holloway fire station were at the scene.

The Brigade was called at 0502 and the fire was under control by 0535.

It is believed that the fire was caused by a candle.
