Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a two storey house on Upper Wickham Lane in Welling, yesterday evening.
The fire damaged approximately three quarters of the first floor and around half of the building’s roof.
The Brigade was called at 1719 and the fire was under control by 1807. Firefighters from Plumstead, Erith and Sidcup fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
