Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters attended a fire in a three storey shop with flats above it on Stroud Green Road, N4, yesterday morning.
Around half of the ground floor was damaged by fire. A number of people were evacuated from the flats above the shop as a precaution.
The Brigade was called at 1136 and the fire was under control by 1407. Crews from Stoke Newington, Holloway, Kentish Town and Finchley fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
