Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to a fire on Botwell Common Road in Hayes, UB3 today. Seven garden sheds were destroyed in the blaze. Two propane gas cylinders were involved in the fire, which firefighters subsequently cooled down and made safe. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 11.39 and the fire was under control by 13.38. Firefighters from Feltham, Hayes, Hillingdon and surrounding fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
